BELLA DEER - 'BLACK DOTS' SINGLE LAUNCH TOUR w/ AMANDUH + MEGAN KENNEDY at The Retreat Hotel

BELLA DEER returns with her band to Naarm to celebrate the release of 'Black Dots', the brand-new single from the Geelong-based alt-pop storyteller.  Renowned for her soaring, emotive vocals and songwriting prowess, 'Black Dots' is her first release since the 2024 EP Age of Alchemy, which birthed favourites 'Shipwreck Coast' and 'In the Nebula'. If you love a strong vocals, piano-led ballads, atmospheric guitars, and dreamy alt-pop in the vein of Florence + The Machine or London Grammar, this show is for you. With special guests Megan Kennedy and Amanduh: Amanduh is a Melbourne/Naarm based singer songwriter, originally from rural Victoria with a love for big hooks and honest lyrics. Amanduh’s style sits somewhere between indie pop and acoustic songwriting, with hints of nostalgia and perhaps a too honest lyric every now and then. Drawing on the relatable aspects of life, Amanduh’s often praised for dressing up hard moments in song form. She takes inspiration from Maggie Rogers, Maisie Peters and Holly Humberstone. In 2023, Megan released her debut single Time Machines, a sun-drenched ballad that has been described as melodically deft, triumphant and disarmingly charming. She has since rehearsed and performed steadily with a four-piece band, refining her live act and making an impression across a range of venues and festivals, both locally and regionally. Having finished recording her debut EP at the end of 2024, Megan released the first single Can’t Catch the Night alongside a brand-new film clip.
