Petrol Williams - 'Hoped not again' single launch. at Bergy Bandroom

Following nearly 12 months away from the stage, Petrol Williams returns to the Bergy Bandroom to launch ‘Hoped not again’, the first single from their upcoming EP, ‘Evening all day long’.  Recorded with longtime collaborator and producer, the indomitable Elon Bust, Petrol Williams’ second EP ventures into novel territory for the artist, pivoting slightly away from drum machines and synths towards a grungier, more guitar-heavy sound.  Fresh from a recent UK tour with The Slingers, and having emerged from a period of spiritual and physical transformation that Williams describes as “like Kafka’s metamorphosis but in reverse”, the artist promises (formalised with a blood oath), "a polyamorous matrimony of sound on the 10th of September: genres as diverse as grunge, Greek folk, dream-wave and rock and roll will henceforth be eternally wedded - for better or for worse.”  ‘Hoped not again’ - the first single from the EP - drops on August 14th.
