Junior Rock Band AFeaturing mostly Year 7s, Junior Rock Band A knows how to build a disco without DJ decks or a light-up dance floor. Their energy and enthusiasm shine through in every performance.

Junior Rock Band BIf Robert Smith and Roger Waters collaborated, our second Junior Rock Band might be the result. These students seamlessly blend the sounds of Pink Floyd and The Cure, showcasing their deep appreciation for music.

Senior Rock Band AIf it were the early 2000s, you’d find Senior Rock Band A on a Big Day Out lineup, sharing stages with The Offspring, Deftones, Weezer, and Silverchair. Their 2000s distortion sound will leave you stunned, making you feel as though you’re at a local rock show rather than a school event.

Senior Rock Band BDulwich Hill’s Senior Rock Band B is a solid and dependable ensemble, demonstrating skill and professionalism comparable to well-established rock bands. Their diverse repertoire includes iconic acts such as The Beatles, Metallica, Queen, and The Jackson 5, showcasing their dedication and artistry in mastering challenging pieces.

The VocalsThe confidence carried by The Vocals in their performances makes them sound like some of Sydney’s most seasoned gigging singers. Whether performing classic R&B soul tracks or their unique takes on ’60s pop songs, they’re sure to have you tapping your feet.

Vocal EnsembleThe DHSVAD Vocal Ensemble is a long-standing and talented group that has performed at prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House (part of the In Concert Festival of Choral Music), the Enmore Theatre, and the Lazy Bones Lounge in Marrickville. Their diverse repertoire includes contemporary choral arrangements. They will be performing Indodana, a traditional South African song arranged by Michael Barrett and Ralf Schmitt, as well as Foundling, an interpretation of Grimm’s Fairytales composed by Luke Byrn.

Stage BandFor our more advanced students, Stage Band feels at home in jazz clubs like LazyBones. Their repertoire spans fusion, funk, neo-soul, free jazz, and bebop. Their folders of music rival those of professional musicians who populate our jazz clubs.
