Lunar Maria EP Release at The Leadbeater Hotel

Lunar Maria returns to the Leadbeater hotel on September 3rd where they debuted earlier this year to launch their first EP 'Ode To Ouroborus'! Their sound is inspired by bands like Oasis, The Rolling Stones and The Faces. Lunar Maria gets their name from the moon's suspected oceans, but unlike their namesake their music holds water. It invites the listener to once again stare up at the stars with childlike wonder, to feel like you could reach out and hold them in your hand. To float past the weight of day to day, shed your shackles and fly. They are flanked by the ever introspective Blanco Tranco, who have recently returned from their hiatus after releasing their FIRST ALBUM 'The Imagined Life'. They are eager to draw you into their intoxicating blend of dream-pop haze, and driving post-punk rhythms characterised by their signature raw emotive energy. And Jackson Newitt's band who play an energetic mix of covers and heartfelt originals inspired by the likes of Malcolm Todd and the Backseat Lovers. They're a young band with a wealth of experience, and an unrivalled vitality which contributes to their warming atmosphere.
