Lvl 1 - The OB3 at Lazybones Lounge Restaurant & Bar

The O.B.3 are a Central Coast-based trio featuring Aaron “Baz” Flower on guitar, Matthew Lamb on bass and Toby Hall on drums. Built around their long-running Wednesday Night Delights residency, the trio blend jazz, soul, funk and groove-based instrumentals while regularly collaborating with some of Australia’s finest vocalists and musicians.

DUSTY D on vocals.  Blues, old-school R&B and funk- Imagine the raunchy howl of soulful saxophones, gritty blues guitar and thumping boogie-woogie piano. Mix in the rambunctious rhythms and riffs that gave birth to rock ’n’ roll. Pioneered by artists such as Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown and Johnny “Guitar” Watson, this is rhythm and blues, jump blues and early rock ’n’ roll, with a touch of jazz and soul.

DUNCAN FORD is a Sydney-based freelance guitarist. His work spans a diverse range of styles including blues, jazz, soul, rock and world music. He has performed with members of Thundamentals and True Vibe Nation, Lanie Lane and Pat Powell. Through his work with Sketch the Rhyme (Big Village Records), he has shared the stage with members of The Herd, Hermitude, The Tongue and Koolism.

His music has received airplay on triple j, FBi Radio and 2SER. Support highlights include Melbourne Ska Orchestra (Sydney Opera House, 2015) and The Skatalites (Factory Theatre, 2014). Duncan has played at festivals and events across the country including Adelaide Fringe Festival, Peats Ridge, Subsonic, Newtown Festival, Surry Hills Festival, Vivid LIVE, Wide Open Space, This Is Not Art, Sydney Fringe, SIMA and Jazzgroove Association events.
