Sydney band Fathom breaks the Guinness World Record for the most concerts in 12 hours across multiple cities, starting in Singleton, Newcastle, Gosford, Sydney, Penrith, Lithgow, Bathurst, Goulburn and ending in Canberra.
The Penrith show will be at Elton Chong, supported by Garage Noise and Ryan Thomas.
Fathom is a dream pop duo from Sydney, who seamlessly blend synth pop and indie rock with dreamy and stream-of-conciousness lyrics. Their synth rock essence and moody songwriting is reminiscent of Beach House, Crumb, Mazzy Star and The Cranberries. After playing shows around Sydney since 2022, they made their festival debut in Deniliquin at the most recent Play on the Plains Festival, performing alongside King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizzard and Alex Lahey.
Hailing from Western Sydney Australia, Ryan "Tastee Licks" Thomas is a 24 year old exercising guitar player turned singer songwriter. Along with his backup band, "the Lakeside Band", Thomas's songs are honest, self reflective, nostalgic, while being easy to latch onto and leave a lasting impression on listeners.
Ryans most recent single “Hang Fire” Hints at sounds of Sam Fender, Bruce Springsteen, Powderfinger, and The 1975.
