Supahoney at Vic on The Park Hotel

Supahoney’s sound could be simply put as Post-Rock, with elements of Shoegaze and Math rock. Yet Supahoney is a band that refuses to understand what it is, a fact evidenced in moments of self-aware choonage that leaves audiences umming and awing. In these flashes, the band stumbles upon flits of sonic coherence, only for this momentary genius to be followed by aeons of aloofness. Why? You might ask. That is the perennial question on nobody’s lips, and the precise reason one must see Supahoney live.
