Dreé is a gutsy roots and folk power house. Her tunes fall somewhere between poetry and a brutally honest (sometimes hilarious) journal entry in song format. Dreé dabbles with quirky chord progressions, as well as simple, almost naked arrangements which feel kinda like a spoken word confession of love, grief and relatable mistakes. Dreé feels like a folky Amy Whinehouse, with cheeky bitter-sweet lyrics, exploring the duality of 'holy shit this is heavy' and 'she'll be right mate'.
