Westival '26 at The Tote - Band Room

On the 17th of November, The Tote will be hosting the one and only WESTIVAL ‘26. Get ready for a massive night, held by the shared partnership of Cranbourne West Secondary College and The Tote. This lineup is set to deliver a night you won’t forget! From soaring vocals to gritty guitar riffs, each band brings their own uniqueness and unstoppable presence. Don’t miss out, this gig is all about loud music, good vibes and a crowd that knows how to move. The gig will feature 2 bands from the Year 10 Music elective class and 2 bands from our Year 10 VET music class and finally, our headliner Chromatin: a screamo band from the south east. Cranbourne West Secondary College, a government supported inclusion school in the outer southeastern suburbs of Melbourne, in partnership with The Tote, proudly presents “Westival '26.” This event marks the culmination of the Year 10 Gig Workshop project, where students have collaborated closely with The Tote's booking and venue management team to organise, promote and perform as part of their own gig at one of Melbourne's most iconic live music venues. This program is designed to prepare students for the realities of gigging and live performance in Melbourne, fostering resilience, adaptability and experience among young musicians. Please note this is an all-ages, completely alcohol-free event and the venue has been de-licenced for the evening. NO PASSOUTS for any attendees will be permitted during the event.
