RSOM EOY EVENT 2026 at Bergy Bandroom

The Real Songwriters of Melbourne invite songwriters, creatives and friends to join us for our end-of-year celebration on Saturday 5 December at the Bergy Bandroom. Join us as we come together to celebrate the achievements of Melbourne’s incredible songwriters and the people who make our community what it is. Our annual end-of-year celebrations bring together songwriters of all ages, genres and abilities for an afternoon of music, connection and recognition. This year’s event promises to be a particularly special occasion as we mark 12 years of championing Melbourne’s emerging songwriters. We will once again present the 2026 RSOM Awards, recognising and celebrating individuals and their contributions to the RSOM community. With categories including the RSOM Top 5 Songs of the Year, RSOM Community Award and Songwriter of the Year, the awards shine a light on the diversity, talent and calibre of Melbourne’s songwriting community. The afternoon will also feature live performances from our incredible members and a dedicated networking hour, providing an opportunity to connect with friends old and new, meet fellow songwriters and celebrate the local music community. Full lineup and nominations opening soon. IMPORTANT: This is not an underage event. All performers and attendees under 18 must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Staff at The Bergy Bandroom will check ID upon entry, and entry may be refused without proper supervision.
