Rock The Boat '26 Pre-Party w/ Hot Machine, Starcrazy & Avalanche at Waywards Ballroom

Before setting sail for international waters on the legendary Rock The Boat Festival Cruise (feat. Kings Of Chaos, Baby Animals, The Angels & more),  Harbour Agency brings you three of the hottest upcoming rock acts of the country for a one-off show at Waywards Ballroom in Newtown, Sydney !

The Line-Up:

Hot Machine- Fiery all-girl rockers burning up stages with their high energy, nostalgia-heavy classic rock sound. 

Arriving on the scene mid-2023, the 5-piece quickly made their mark on Melbourne’s rock scene before jumping on nationwide tours with Aussie greats like Rose Tattoo, Wolfmother, The Southern River Band and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets to name a few. They were quick to secure tour support slots for International artists such as Cherie Currie (USA), Supersuckers (USA) and Nashville Pussy (USA)  — along with a run of international tours in New Zealand and Japan with Guitar Wolf and NZ punk legends The D4. 

Starcrazy- Bred & nurtured in the stronghold of Sydney’s Inner West music scene, Starcrazy formed in 2020 and have since sold out a number of electrifying shows, received ongoing radio airplay from Alice Cooper, opened for world class artists such as Redd Kross, Baby Animals, Faster Pussycat and The Hard Ons, had their single, ‘The Big Time’ synced on Major League Baseball and even performed on national television with comedian Jimeoin!

Starcrazy’s individual sound is a heady fusion of 70’s Glam Rock & 80’s Alt Metal; where catchy pop structured melodies, spirited vocals & high energy rifforama are propelled from a solid foundation of pure rock & roll. (Think Jane’s Addiction meets Cheap Trick.)

Avalanche- Loud, proud, and born in the pubs of Sydney, Avalanche are a husband-and-wife–led hard rock powerhouse breathing new life into classic Aussie pub rock and erupting onto the global stage.

Following a breakout run across Europe and the UK supporting Airbourne to over 25k punters, and the acclaimed release of their debut album “Armed To The Teeth’, they’ve earned global attention, rave reviews and radio play including Metal Hammer, Kerrang! and Classic Rock; and partnerships with Marshall, Orange, Natal, Ernie Ball and more. With hundreds of shows under their belt, a growing international fanbase and over 3 stacked months of global touring planned for 2027,  Avalanche are fast becoming one of Australia’s most exciting rising rock acts.
