We have our favourite queer DJs, dance leaders, cheeky provocateurs, and down to get dirty songsters to party like we're in the woods on a full moon night.

What is Qlub? A queer dance party of liberation! 

We offer a party space for AFAB and femme identifying people to dance, in a tops (clothing) optional space. This is a night to celebrate form, and enjoy the freedom usually only experienced in your home in the dark.

HOUSE RULES:

- THIS IS A LGBTQIA+ SAFE SPACERespect the room and the people in it. Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, predatory behaviour or deliberately making others feel unsafe will not be tolerated.- SEE SOMETHING? SAY SOMETHINGIf someone makes you or somebody else uncomfortable in any way, speak to the event team, venue staff or security immediately. We don't tolerate ANY behaviour that causes anyone in our venue discomfort for being who they are. We can help best when we know about it. Your safety and comfort are our priority.- TOPS OPTIONALThis an 18+ tops-optional event. Anyone may choose to dance topless in the designated dance floor. Being topless is never an invitation, permission to touch, photograph, comment on or sexualise someone's body.- NO PHONES ON THE DANCEFLOORNo photography. No filming. No exceptions. Phones will be stickered on arrival and venue staff, security and event staff will be monitoring this VERY closely. No warnings, no second chances.- CONSENT. CONSENT. CONSENT.No touching without consent. No means no. Uncertainty means no. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.- THE GAY MAFIA IS WATCHING.QClub's roaming event team will be present throughout the night to support patrons and keep an eye on the room. They can connect you directly with venue management/security where intervention is required.- THE VENUE HAS FINAL SAY.Altar Bar reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone for unsafe, discriminatory, harassing, non-consensual, intoxicated, aggressive or otherwise inappropriate behaviour. Removal may occur without refund.- LOOK AFTER EACH OTHER.Tops optional doesn't mean anything goes. Respect boundaries, respect bodies and don't be a dickhead.- AFAB + FEMMES TO THE FRONT.Make space, don't take space. This event prioritises queer, femme and gender-diverse safety and expression. This is an ethos of the dancefloor, not an exclusion policy.

CONTENT + EVENT WARNINGThis is an 18+ event and contains adult themes, loud music, flashing/strobing lighting, theatrical performances and material that some patrons may find confronting or unsettling.The dancefloor operates as a tops-optional space and patrons may encounter partial nudity.Entry to the event does not constitute consent to physical contact, photography, filming or sexual interaction of any kind.No photography or filming is permitted on the dancefloor.Patrons who do not follow the event's consent, safety and behaviour policies may be removed from the venue.

ACCESSIBILITYLevel access is available from 112 Murray Street via the black and white laneway leading to the Garden. There is one accessible toilet. There is braille signage and tactile ground surface indicators throughout the venue.
