On Saturday June 6th 2026, Never Mind The Balearics and Heaps Normal come together for a massive Saturday long weekend all-dayer - it’s Heaps Balearic!

This event is all about having an open mind and playing every kind of dance music under the sun. DJs that refuse to follow convention, a room full of like-minded music lovers, and a proper sound system that’s purposely set up with an irresistible sweet spot, directly under the giant disco ball.

Mr Disco Kid - A phenomenon unlike any other. His passionate DJing style is guaranteed to send your hands into the air, as he deploys banger after banger from his Mary Poppins-like record bag. As a private record dealer to the likes of Gilles Peterson, Luke Una and Floating Points (to name just some of his clients) he’s the go-to man in all of Japan when it comes to impossible-to-find, holy grail records. From Jazz to Discofunk. House and Techno, via just about any musical direction you care to name - If you like your music deep and soulful, Mr Disco Kid is the most exciting DJ on the planet right now.

Jeremy Spellacey - Co-founder of Crown Ruler, now full time A&R man and compiler for Soundway Records. He’s a globe-trotting musical archaeologist, passionately reissuing album after album of previously impossible-to-source dance music from all over the world. As a DJ, Jeremy drops everything from slow soul jams to African boogie and unimaginable electronica from far-away lands.. As a record dealer, he counts DJ Harvey as one of his many clients.
