52 in 52 Charity Concert for Bravehearts at Bad Decisions Bar

On June 30, 2025 Curtis Cooper began an epic quest to run 52 Marathons in 52 Weeks in a bid to raise $250,000 for Bravehearts, a charity dedicated to the prevention and treatment of Child Sexual Abuse. The sad reality is 1 in 3 Australian Girls and 1 in 5 Australian Boys will experience sexual abuse, a stat I think we'd all agree is simply unfathomable and one that simply must change.

Curtis is now well and truly past the halfway point of the journey and will complete his quest on June 29, 2026 in Perth so it's time to give him a hand and raise some funds with a charity bash for the ages. There'll be raffles, spot prizes, speeches and of course a spectacular line-up of bands and musicians that will simply blow your mind.

Stacey Gray of Trial Kennedy and The Ecca Vandal Band fame is bringing together some extraordinary friends for a big band performance, Interesting Cowboy and the Hanging Fruit featuring Tim Rizzoli (Winner of the The Voice Generations) will excite your earbuds, the Caitlin Rizzoli Duo (Co-Winner The Voice Generations) will absolutely freeze you with her perfect pipes and the Yokohama Joes have chosen this event to make their stage debut.

Tickets are $30 a head with every cent going towards Curtis' $250,000 fundraising goal which will result in more protection, more education and more safety for our kids.
