Twin City’s Blues Band consists of Trevor Jalla, Nathan Gaunt and Andrew Winton who joined together at the request of PBC long-time member, Derek Cromb who will be celebrating his birthday on the night. All three have played at the Club over the years both solo and in various bands.All up we have three big talents and one big night of entertainment.

Dave Brewer's Deluxe Combo | 9.00pm

Dave Brewer was a founding member of Perth blues band who formed in 1976 and toured Australia extensively throughout the late 70’s until the band shifted base from Perth to Sydney in 1980.

Following the Elks disbanding in 1982, Dave stayed on in Sydney to join blues/soul bands, the Champions, the Dynamic Hepnotics, the Mighty Reapers and later, world music outfit the Catholics (led by bassist Lloyd Swanton – the Necks). 

Throughout the 1990's, the Mighty Reapers released five CD's and were chosen to support many international artists including: BB King, Albert King, Buddy Guy, Stevie Ray Vaughan. 

The Catholics also released five CD's throughout the1990's and toured Australia, Canada and Europe where the band performed at both the Montreal and North Sea Jazz festivals. 

Dave moved from Sydney, back to his hometown of Perth in 2000 and since then has been playing regularly with his own band, Natalie Gillespie, Lucky Oceans, Jim Fisher, Bill Rogers, the DooDaddies and others. Dave has recorded and released three solo albums of original music since returning to Perth.

Alex Borthwick is mostly known in Perth as one of the top jazz guitarists, but happens to be equally adept on bass guitar. Stuart Robertson is one of the busiest drummers in town due to his great "feel" and versatility with all styles of music. Alex and Stuart are the Mainstays of Dave's band "Deluxe Combo" band and together are up there with the finest rhythm sections.
