300 Joules at The Gov - The Gibson Stage

300 Joules was created by Dr Jonathan Martin (lead guitar and vocals) and Dr Cameron Singleton (bass) in 2023 as music therapy to relieve the stress of their busy careers as Adelaide medical specialists. Fired by a passion for rock and blues music, they have since been joined by Drs Peter Tyllis (drums), Adrian Chung (guitar and keys), Charles Cock (guitar and vocals) and Prof. David Cropley (Lead vocals and harmonica). Along with their own songs, they play covers of well-known rock and blues hits from bands like The Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Jimi Hendrix, Dire Straits, The Cars, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and more. The philosophy of the band is that music is for everyone. As the name implies, we are here to get your heart started and judging by the reaction of audiences in the pubs and clubs of Adelaide, 300 Joules can do just that! In October last year 300 Joules rocked the Gov and raised money for the men’s health charity, Movember. On the 31st of October this year we are doing it again with a triple celebration at the Gov! We are celebrating the release of the bands first original EP along with Halloween and raising money for Movember. Music is the best medicine, so come along, help us to kick start Movember 2026 and lets rock the Gov again!
