KHAN 'Welcome Home/End of Year' show at The Leadbeater Hotel

After their massive 20-date European tour in September/October, Australian progressive heavy psych band Khan are excited to play a big welcome home show at The Leadbeater Hotel for their final show of the year. The Melbourne-based trio meld hazy psychedelia with heavy stoner riffs and a penchant for progressive rhythms and almost dirge-like crescendos. Their songs are deeply evocative, often exuding strong visceral reactions fluctuating from a sense of haunting melancholy to immense empyreal awe. Vocally, they waver from ethereal falsetto and hypnotic crooning to impassioned wailing punctuated by occasional guttural screams. They'll be joined by South Australian desert/alt/psych rockers Heinous Crimes and newly reignited quintet The Deadlips, who crystallised their place in the alt rock Melbourne scene in the late 2010s.
