Majak Door at Vic on The Park Hotel

Majak Door, from Melbourne/Naarm Australia, play an expansive sound that is probably best described using words like dreamy, groovy, and both often energetic and occasionally completely laid back. You’ll be able to hear influences from genres including surf rock, shoegaze, alt-folk, and new-wave as well as blues and psychedlic. In 2026, the band is continuing to record and plan for album number three, following a debut Euro/UK tour in mid 2025. The band’s first release of the year is the single ‘Quite like her’; an up-tempo acoustic driven track the band is keen to play live.
