UNIT play Marrickville Bolwo + with CRWLW and LOUISA at Marrickville Bowling Club

The new-ish project of guitarist Asher Bates (00_, Dr Sure’s), UNIT are an off-kilter, experimental swamp rock band from Naarm. Their sound, like some melding of Polvo and The Drones, features intricate and distinctive guitar work paired with emotive vocals and rich lyricism. Having only played their first show in March the band have since shared bills with the likes of Party Dozen, Georgia Knight, Romy Vager and Dartz (NZ) to name a few. A superstitious bunch, UNIT are hitting the road for a lucky 7 shows run to celebrate their first single release ‘Rachel.’  The single will be up on bandcamp from Sept 24th until the band succumbs to the siren song of streaming services.
