Nick Carver - EP Launch at The Gem Bar

Nick Carver brings his raw, hypnotic one-man blend of garage rock and psychedelic blues to The Gem on Sunday November 29, celebrating the release of his debut solo EP. Expect fuzzed-out riffs, gritty lap steel, stomping rhythms and plenty of left-field experimentation. Best known as the frontman of Nick Carver & The Mean St Butchers, one half of Blue Sabbath and lap steel guitarist for Boris Black, Carver draws inspiration from R.L. Burnside, Jon Spencer and Bob Log III, delivering stripped-back sounds with plenty of attitude. Joining him for this special Sunday afternoon are Jungle Jim Smith, Joshua Seymour and Uncle Quentin.
