To Be Human 'Introspection' EP Launch w/ Wollongong // giraffeHead // Kryver at La La La's

To Be Human are a progressive alt rock act hell bent on breaking the shackles of genre and

trend, delivering a diverse and emotionally evocative set designed to take you on a ride. To

fundamentally be human is to be paradoxically complex and multifaceted, plundering through

life jumping sporadically from one passion to another, one desire to the next, one opinion to the

exact opposite.

The band’s long-awaited debut concept EP ‘Introspection’ is testament to this ethos,

representing a turbulent mental health journey through sound. Touching on many aspects of

one’s psyche, the album features melancholy saturated low points, exhilarating highs and

everything in between, whilst simultaneously demonstrating the band’s musical prowess,

drawing inspiration from rock, alternative, metal, shoegaze, emo, psych, jazz, funk, folk and

more.

To celebrate the release of this EP, To Be Human has curated a genre-mashed smorgasbord of

local talent to appease your ears, bound to leave you bewildered, give you a good laugh and get

you dancing...
