Arrows Reunion 2026 at The Chippo Hotel

Dormant Brisbane emo band Arrows are returning to Sydney for one night only this April. Twenty years after the release of their debut EP Don't Write Poetry, the band are taking the stage again for select shows in Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney. The band's textural and introspective sound won them fans across the globe. Their seminal release Modern Art & Politics topped many year-end lists in 2008 - praised for it's mixture of 90s emo, shoegaze, and post-rock. Arrows' music is understated but heavy, emotional without theatrics, and distinctly Australian. The band were last in Sydney in 2015, reforming to supporting seminal emo band Mineral on their Australian Tour. This time, the band are joined by old friends; Jen Buxton & The Slaughterhouse Five, Sun Run, Jamie Hay and Jack R. Reilly.
