LAPIS - SPOTS AND STRIPES SINGLE LAUNCH FT. LEO ABISAAB [FREE ENTRY] at Oxford Art Factory

Celebrating the release of their debut single, Spots and Stripes, LAPIS takes to the OAF on November 14 alongside Sydney songbird Leo Abisaab for a stacked night of smooth, neo-soul and funk not to be missed.

Five-piece Neo-soul outfit LAPIS are quickly establishing themselves as a force in the Sydney scene. Operating on the Gadigal land of the Eora nation, the group consisting of Leah Reinhardt, Seb Hazel-Harrison, Fergus Harley-MacDonald, Oscar Lubbock and Finn Moore have developed a catalogue of collaboratively-written original music that reflects their eclectic interests, from Pinegrove to Badu to Bjork. LAPIS are set to release their debut EP in 2027, a collection of honest, lyrically-driven songs, featuring grooves that draw from Neo-soul and D&B, and interjected with spoken poetry. LAPIS is a band of friends visibly passionate about the music they perform, at their core writing songs they love.
