Join Anna Dine and cate guirguis as they celebrate their most exciting launches to date! Come along for their first all ages show for a night of indie pop magic with three female fronted pop acts.
Anna Dine belongs to a world of glitter, friendship bracelets and rainbows. The Sydney indie pop songstress presents a unique style of production and songwriting that is starkly honest, yet showered in sparkling synths, lush harmonies and grungy guitars inspired by Clairo, Benee and Last Dinosaurs. Anna Dine burst into the Sydney scene in 2025 by winning the prestigious Sonora Song Competition hosted by renowned Australian Producer Jack Nigro, which sponsored her debut single ‘kind 2 me.’ The track earned a wealth of radio play across Triple J, Triple J Unearthed, FBI and 2SER, championed by Unearthed Music Director Claire Mooney, and heralded as “dreamy pop that carries its own unique sound that's worthy of a First Play on Unearthed” by Sara Glaidous. The track was celebrated with a debut headline launch show in Chippendale where Anna sold out on presale, and in late 2025, Anna was announced a winner of the 2025 Campus Music Competition.
‘anymore’ is an ode to the block button: the catharsis of blocking people who gossip, stalk and bully you online. It’s an infectiously catchy, defiant, vibrant, and upbeat indie pop track about finally putting your inner peace first instead of worrying about looking oversensitive; it’s the liberation of setting boundaries and creating space between yourself and the people who inhibit you.
‘anymore’ serendipitously emerged from an originally planned multi-artist collaboration session which quickly turned into a solo track when no other artists showed up. Instead, the track blossomed into a one-day songwriting challenge involving Anna Dine and Alex Berger, renowned Australian producer and drummer of GRXCE.
cate guirguis is an indie pop singer songwriter from Sydney. Featuring evocative lyrics and lucious layers of harmonies, her obsession with vocal layering is clear, drawn from years of choral experience. Musically inspired by the likes of Missy Higgins, Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift, cate’s music is perfect for your sad girl playlist for long night drives.
cate made her festival debut at the most recent Play on the Plains in Deniliquin, sharing a stage with local legends including Kita Alexander, Alex Lahey and King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, won the soloist category in their inaugural battle of the bands competition. She has received vast support from community radio, and had her first triple j play with her recent single ‘competition,’ advocated by Claire Mooney as ‘A heart on sleeve offering full of raw honesty and a whole heap of passion and emotion.’
‘emily’ is a bittersweet ballad about realising you love someone only after letting them go, and learning to be okay watching them move on. Opening with intimate vocals and guitar and building into a full band climax, the track takes you through the quiet regret of walking away from someone you thought was right to leave. Written halfway across the world after leaving the country with too much time to think, the track was finished at Sonora Studios, mixed and co-produced by Aaron Frost and mastered by Jack Nigro.
