Lvl 1 - Jazz Guitarology + Sam Leong Quartet at Lazybones Lounge Restaurant & Bar

‘Jazz Guitarology’ is a new Sydney based group led by up and coming Jazz guitarist Dom Roche. The band will be playing the tunes and arrangements made famous by the giants of Jazz guitar including Wes Montgomery, Kenny Burrell and Barney Kessel. Also along with originals written by Dom Roche. 

Dom is becoming an established figure in the Sydney jazz scene, having played with decorated names such as Andrew Dickeson, Craig Scott, Warwick Alder, Steve Barry and many more. He is dedicated to contributing to the tradition of Jazz through his playing and taste. 

‘Jazz Guitarology’ band is made up of Sydney’s best working jazz musicians including:

Guitar - Dom Roche , Piano - Hugh Barrett, Double Bass- Max Little, Drums - Mitch Minotto & Congas - Lucas Trevisan

The opening act of the night is the Sam Leong quartet!

The Sam Leong Quartet is an up and coming group from all around the Sydney jazz scene. Together, they’ll explore the exciting and dynamic world of guitar and sax quartets throughout history from Lee Konitz and Billy Baur and Bill Frisell and Joe Lovano. With good vibes and great music, this band is sure to soothe the soul.
