Sydney five-piece Mega Fäuna have come into their own on their debut album, softmore, out March 19 on Blossom Rot Records. Born from COVID lockdown malaise and a shared vision of emboldening more women to take to the musical stage, Mega Fäuna craft songs that are intimate yet expansive: five voices form layered harmonies over intricate and surprising instrumentation, with lyrics that explore the softness and secondness of womanhood.
