RITUALS: A Tribute to Ancient Traditions live at Lazybones Lounge Restaurant & Bar - Concert poster

RITUALS: A Tribute to Ancient Traditions RITUALS is not just a concert, it's a shared cultural experience. Inspired by the sacred traditions of ancient communities, this event reimagines ritual for our time through sound, movement, and storytelling. The music serves as a bridge between worlds, creating a space where people of all backgrounds can come together in celebration, reflection, and connection. It's a journey that invites the audience to dance, listen, and feel deeply rooted in something timeless and collective.

GabzaK is a Chilean-born, Central Coast-based music composer, producer, and multi-dimensional performer. Weaving live saxophone, zampoña, vintage synths, and deep electronic grooves with cinematic projection-mapped visuals, he creates immersive experiences that feel both ancestral and futuristic. Born in Santiago and based in Australia since 2017, his sound moves through Latin psychedelia, dub, Cumbia, and Andean electronic folk, earthy yet spacious, soulful yet bass-heavy. Each performance is a ceremony: hypnotic, grounded, and transformative. His 2025 show at VIVID Sydney marked a new chapter, where electronic music, dance, and ancestral energy merged into a fully immersive ritual. Music is medicine.

The Changuas is a Sydney band formed by four friends from Bogotá: Morado, Dica, Luisda, and Dyfuzo. Far from home, they found each other and built something that feels like home, blending Latin American rhythms with rock, ska, and reggae into a sound as warm and familiar as the traditional Colombian soup their name pays tribute to. Their logo, drawn from the colourful bus signs of Bogotá, carries the same street identity and local pride that runs through every show. Live, they bring unstoppable energy, rhythm, and joy, a place where cultures meet, stories are shared, and the sound of Bogotá travels far beyond its borders.

Oroana (she/her) is a Colombian-born, Australia-based artivist and DJ. Living on Darkinjung Country, she blends ceremonial soundscapes with deep electronic grooves, creating immersive sets that channel Indigenous resistance, spiritual connection, and dance-floor release.
