Louis and Lucky delve deep into the groove heavy, bluesy jazz of the 50s and 60s, with a focus on the ever fresh music of Thelonious Monk, revisioned and  enlivened by Louis’ exceptional talent and enthusiasm on piano, organ, guitar and sax and Lucky’s decades of experience including seeing some of the original jazz legends in his youth in Philadelphia. 

Back by popular demand after a string of sold out shows and aided by their shared love of both blues and jazz, Lucky and Louis will take you on a unique journey into a time when listening and playing jazz was a deep communal experience, transforming the Duke of George into New York City’s Birdland in the early 60s.
