Syndesi Album Launch With Faux Purr + Hampton State Forest at Lazybones Lounge Restaurant & Bar

Syndesi, the debut new folk–inspired album from Peter Atzemis, reimagines the Greek bouzouki, blending its iconic sound with contemporary songwriting. This album, named after the Greek word for “connection,” reflects Peter’s Greek Australian identity and his evolving relationship with heritage through his compositional practice.

Beginning the songwriting process on his family’s island of Kastellorizo, Peter drew inspiration not only from the landscape but also the stories and histories that run through the island. Syndesi explores both a literal and symbolic connection to homeland, while expressing what it means to nurture Greek identity within Sydney.

With a 9-piece band, Peter presents Syndesi as a full live experience, with special guests Faux Purr and Hampton State Forest joining the lineup.
