The album delves into themes of feminism, gender, postcolonialism, multiculturalism and imposter syndrome. It challenges the idea of a singular identity, embracing and celebrating complexity and vulnerability. Based in Sydney on Gadigal and Wangal land, Second Idol unleashes impassioned performances that fuse alternative rock, post-punk, grunge, goth and shoegaze influences.
