Lazy Susan plays Long Lost - 25th Anniversary Show live at Marrickville Bowling Club - Concert poster
It's 2000, the Sydney Olympics are in full swing. It's spring, life is good, you don't have a care in the world, and if you're listening to Triple J, there are two songs on high rotation you can't get out of your head: Lazy Susan's ‘Bobby Fischer’ ("No one ever says Reykjavik in a song") – followed by their second single, ‘Canada’. Fast forward 12 months and the album containing both songs, Long Lost, is on most critics' lists for the best albums of 2001, and Lazy Susan is one of Sydney's best-loved – and best live – bands. Now Lazy Susan are back for a one-off 25th anniversary celebration of Long Lost. For the first time since 2016, the band will take the stage to perform the album – described by The Age as "an Australian indie pop classic" – song for song, along with a collection of other fan faves.
