The Engine - Punish and Years of Carnival: Double Single Release at Burdekin Hotel

Sydney – The Burdekin – Fri 19th June 2026   Sydney/Eora outfit The Engine will play at The Burdekin Hotel with a special live show to celebrate the release of their upcoming double single “Punish & Years of Carnival,” on Friday 19th June 2026.   ‘Punish / Years of Carnival’ is a violent, tension-soaked blast of post-punk noise. Underpinned by a harrowing lyrical narrative, each track channels the feral chaos of Metz and the unhinged darkness of The Birthday Party. Built on grinding electric guitars, industrial themed samples, pummelling rhythms and razor-wire vocals, the double-single captures a band pushing desperation and aggression into something hypnotic and visceral.
