Black Sea of Trees Cult of the Sun Album launch with Tanil Cagdas & Aidan Black Project at The Tote - Upstairs

On November 29th, BLACK SEA OF TREES celebrates the release of their latest album, Cult of the Sun. The concept album tells the story of an ancient king’s bloody rise, spiritual doubt and apocalyptic collapse through a lens of mysticism and doom. The narrative is carried by Arabic scales, desert tones, and dynamic clean and growling vocals. Joining the lineup is Tanil Cagdas, the former BSOT guitarist, who has journeyed down from Sydney to showcase his own virtuosic solo project, rich in melody, exciting songwriting and soaring guitar solos. Also on the bill is the Aidan Black Project, an instrumental trio ranging from technical progressive metal to expansive ambience.
