Half/Angel toe the line of alt-rock, post punk & ambient psychedelia. They unpredictably juxtapose intimate, soft, vocals and delicate instrumental passages with raucous, high-energy outbursts. They’re exciting to listen to, and their singles ‘Debt Collector’ & ‘Boat Ramp + Jitterbug’ will have you struggling to put them in a box and itching to hear what’s next.

New noise in the scene, King Hit, is a Te Whanganui A Tara based four piece that blends together the jarring-ness of shoe-gaze, the punch of hardcore, with the sombreness of midwest emo. After a successful release of their debut single ‘asterisk’, King Hit are poised to release their follow up single ‘Sap’, an grungy-yet-ethereal longing love song.

San Fran holds a Supervised License, meaning minors are welcome to attend events at San Fran so long as they are accompanied by a legal guardian at all times whilst at the venue. Minors are of course not allowed to purchase alcohol under any circumstance
