The Petrov Affair is a Sydney-based avant-pop and art-rock band with a literate, atmospheric sound blending electronica with understated humor and a touch of melancholia. Their debut full-length album, Men Are a Luxury Item, was released in 2026. The singles "Men Are A Luxury Item" and "Never Trust a Man" are slightly psychedelic, definitely atmospheric, and irresistibly melodic. The album has been getting heaps of airplay on community radio in Sydney and around Australia.

The Urban Cartel. After a gruelling residency at ADP, The Urban Cartel are returning to the Innerwest. Leaving the neon, the all-you-can-eat buffets, and a loyalty points balance that could fund a small nation, they’ve traded the glitter for something altogether more dangerous: authenticity. In a stripped-back set that proves less really can be more, especially when your rider no longer includes a fog machine, the band brings their bruised and beautiful blend of contemporary alt-folk, country, soul and blues back to the streets that made them. Or at least tolerated them. Same songs. Less sequins. Considerably more feeling.
