It seems people have more and more stuff to deal with, which we reckon is all the more reason to get out of the house and say hello to some old friends. It’s a time to remember the ones you’ve lost and make some new ones in the process. It’s all about connection, tradition, looking backwards and moving forwards. It’s all about Christmas with Mick Thomas’ Roving Commission. It’s been a watershed year for Mick Thomas with a stellar sell-out national solo tour - his first in this capacity in over twenty years. As well as that the launch of his Top Paddock Substack page is something that has kept him busy and most importantly kept the creative juices flowing. After topping the Substack new artist charts for a number of weeks expect more new music and writing as Mick embraces this format into the new year. And for the Christmas stockings there’ll be some flash new merch, including a brand new 7” Vinyl split single out in conjunction with last year’s tour buddies Hana and Jessie-Lee’s Bad Habits.
