As we proudly mark our seventh anniversary, join us to celebrate a spectacular evening of music at the Brunswick Ballroom, recognised as one of Melbourne's finest live music venues.This milestone concert promises to deliver the ultimate Best of Tarab Ensemble, showcasing a carefully curated repertoire that represents the absolute highlights since we started in 2019. Audiences will experience a captivating sonic journey through several styles and rhythms from the Arab world such as Samaei, Longa, Rai, Contemporary, Sufi, Andalusi and Classics of the 20th Century.Bringing together Arabic acoustic instruments like oud and ney along with western instruments such as double bass, saxophone and flute, this unique anniversary event reflects the ensemble's passionate seven-year journey of reviving and sharing rich cultural heritage.Weaving together multiple art forms, the evening features captivating vocal performances by renowned singer Eman, alongside stunning visual dance by choreographer Ghazaleh. Adding another layer of emotional depth to the music, the performance will also integrate moving poetry recitals that connect the audience directly to the heart of Arab heritage.Join us for an unforgettable evening where music, movement, and poetry intertwine.
