The Funktion - R&B Classics at The Rechabite

Haaaay Aunty! (& Uncle) You know what time it is…The Funktion returns to Rechabite Hall this June for a night dedicated to the songs that raised us. A night of Old Skool R&B, elite two stepping and enough Michael Jackson sprinkled through the night to have the whole room trying to moonwalk after 3 drinks. 

This is for the people who hear one little “hee hee” and immediately lose their minds. For the aunties that know every harmony. For the uncles that suddenly become professional dancers after one Hennessy. For the people screaming “THIS IS MY SONGGGG” every 4 minutes. 

Me and you, yo' Momma and yo' Cousin too, ‘bout to spend Friday night singing until our voices are gone to Brandy, Usher, SWV, Boyz II Men, D’Angelo, MJ and a whole lot more. 

Cee Caton & Sam Nafie ft. Amanda Dee will be backed by a live band bringing the classics to life while DJs Profits, Stylz Ali & Cue keep the dancefloor moving all night long. Come ready to sing. Come ready to dance. Come ready to hear at least one song that unlocks a memory you forgot you had.
