Owelu Dreamhouse (pronounced Oh-WAY-lew) is a genre-bending collaboration between vocalist Nkechi Anele and multi-instrumentalist Nic Ryan-Glenie, formerly of Saskwatch. This debut self-titled album is a homecoming for two of the city's most respected musical minds.
Released on Hopestreet Recordings, 6 February 2026, and Produced by Henry Jenkins (Karate Boogaloo, Surprise Chef), this debut is a masterclass in modern analog production, weaving through the complexities of cultural ties and identity. The project was brought to life by a "village" of Melbourne’s most talented instrumentalists and a shared kinship for soulful, psychedelic exploration.
This Easter Saturday, the studio magic hits the stage. Join Owelu Dreamhouse and friends for a night of heavy rhythms, lush arrangements, and the first-ever live performance of one of 2026’s most essential local releases.
Supports:
* Karate Boogaloo
* Tiana Khasi
* DJ MZRIZK
