Girls Just Wanna Raise Funds is a women-led country & folk night at The Vanguard raising funds for Full Stop Australia, one of the country’s leading sexual, domestic and family violence response and recovery services. 

An event prompted by discontent following recent news coverage around violence against women and rampant misogyny, particularly among young Australians, Girls Just Wanna Raise Funds is organised by women, but open to everyone in support of the cause.

Enjoy live music from Dear Tommie, Charley Castle, Molly Millington and Amy Solylo, line dancing with Rhinestone Rodeo and a community-powered raffle of prizes contributed by local businesses. Come for the conversation and stay for the donations. 

All net proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Full Stop Australia.

All children under 18 not permitted including small children and babies. Photo ID is essential, acceptable ID is a current and valid Australian Drivers Licence or Passport. Intoxicated persons will not be admitted. No thongs, steel cap boots, or spiked attire. Dangerous  behaviour including Crowd Surfing, Stage Diving, Moshing and Violent Dancing is not allowed and will result in your immediate removal from  this venue. Inappropriate behaviour at this venue will lead to your banning.
