flamingo blonde 'Deli Music' EP Launch at QUIVR

flamingo blonde 'Deli Music' EP launch party This is the only place on earth you can celebrate the release of flamingo blonde's sophomore EP 'Deli Music' - out November 13. Not only that, joining the lineup are EJ Wood & Granddaughter, complete with an afterparty set from TUFF GUY. --- flamingo blonde is the alt-rock project of James Bartlett, the Magandjin/Brisbane-based artist who has steadily carved out a reputation with a punchy and intrepid live set, sharing the stage with the likes of Real Estate, Whitney, Last Dinosaurs and The Slingers. Following their debut EP Two Trick Pony via PIAS, flamingo blonde is stepping back into the shuttle with 'Deli Music' - something a little more makeshift and sharp but still lined with the same penchant for hooks, an earworm, a brainworm, fast-running guitars, and just a touch of cheek. It’s the natural evolution of flamingo blonde - scrappy, charming, curious, and ready to push the sound forward while keeping one foot planted in the joy of indie rock.
