Moderate Lovers w/ Trillion and Leuras at Lansdowne Hotel

Moderate Lovers are an Eora/Sydney indie pop-rock three-piece serving up clever melodies, jangly guitars, a dash of distortion and a healthy dose of dry observational wit.

With musical touchstones ranging from Pavement and Dinosaur Jr, you can hear the rich lineage of Australian indie music in their songs, as well as various bands from Flying Nun Records, in their sonic DNA. Indeed, their own musical resume includes time spent treading the boards with local bands such as Soap Star Joe, Starky, and Flicker.

Their debut EP, Crayon Shades, released in 2025 has garnered much critical support and radio play across Australian community radio, US college radio, and their jangle pop treat Lucy's Gardening Again even got a few spins on 702 ABC.

Having played some fine support shows the likes of David McCormack & the Polaroids, Pyramidiacs, and The Electorate, Moderate Lovers are gearing up for their first headline show of 2026.

trillion are a 6-piece (3 guitars) shoegaze and dreampop band who share a love of sonic mayhem, a desire to craft perfect soundscapes – and an unhealthy obsession with guitar pedals. trillion’s tunes bring together driving basslines, blistering drums and dual-vocals, layering these with multi-textured fuzz and reverb to deliver a cascading and crashing wall of sound that grabs the listeners attention.

Leuras is an Australian alternative dream-rock artist with roots in the Blue Mountains near Sydney Australia. Leuras blends alternative rock with dreamy vocals, creating an intimate and emotional sound. Leuras released her first two singles in San Francisco during the pandemic and has since gained recognition for her heartfelt lyrics and ephemeral melodies. She released her debut EP in October 2023 and her debut album ‘coffee and moonlight’ in 2026.
