The Buttery Queer Open Mic (18+) at The Junk Bar

The Buttery Music School brings their community spirit to the intimate corners of The Junk Bar for a queer-led open mic, followed by a set from one of Brissy's fav queer bands. Bring your music, comedy, poetry, or whatever you can dream of. Whether you’re a bedroom songwriter debutant, brand new band or a seasoned comic testing new material, this is your stage. In the spirit of Melt Fest, expect a warm, inclusive room where everyone (that's right, everyone!!!) is welcome, and every mistake gets an applause. This is the FIRST session in a 2-part series, the other being an all ages (ages 12+) open mic on Sunday November 4th.
